Chapter 212 Climbing The Giant

Raydon\'s awe at the massiveness of the giant grew as he got closer to it, whose heavy footsteps shook the ground with a deafening rumble.

He, who was now examining this humanoid creature in greater detail, remarked that it appeared as though this individual was simply wandering around aimlessly.

The only notable features of this gigantic creature were its blue skin and shiny, hairless head.

Additionally, he was completely naked, with the exception of the white boxers that he was wearing. If this weren\'t the case, the sight of a massive, unmentionable thing jiggling around between the giant\'s legs as he walked would definitely be unpleasant for anyone to witness.

But there was something else that caught Raydon\'s attention about this giant\'s behavior, and that was the fact that he was walking around with his eyes closed, as though he were walking in his sleep, and paying no attention to anything that was going on around him.

On occasion, he would even run into a tree, but he would simply keep walking in a different direction.

"I guess the water slimes coming out of his body will be the only obstacle for me to climb this thing." After Raydon had gotten within striking distance of the massive creature, he reasoned that he could be sure it wouldn\'t attack.

Raydon could also see what appeared to be water bubbles occasionally rising to the surface of this giant\'s skin before vanishing again, but he did not see any slime. Because of this, he concluded that slimes only made an appearance whenever they sensed a possible enemy was nearby.

He pulled his short sword from his dimensional storage and began running towards one of the feet of the giant, who was moving slowly but steadily.

Raydon activated his skill as soon as he was close enough to his target.

\'\'Explosive Stride. \'\'

And as he leaped, a miniature explosion occurred beneath his feet, which caused him to rocket upwards by a number of meters all at once.

\'I hope that his skin isn\'t as tough as it looks. \' After giving it a fleeting thought, Raydon thrust the short sword into the giant\'s foot with as much force as he could muster.

\'\'Nice. \'\' He was delighted to observe that the sword had no trouble penetrating the skin.

It appeared that this thing, despite its enormous size, had relatively weak defenses, and even the spot where Raydon had stabbed it with the sword did not appear to be showing any signs of healing.

\'It probably doesn\'t have any other powers other than its enormous size and the ability to produce E-Rank slimes from its body. \' He thought.

Even with these characteristics, this giant is an extremely dangerous foe; in fact, if it were even more powerful, the scope of this E-Rank inheritance probably wouldn\'t be enough to contain the power of this thing, and it would fall apart as a result.

Raydon took the dismantling knife from his dimensional storage and stabbed the giant\'s leg a little higher than where he had just stabbed the sword. He then continued to work his way up the giant\'s leg in a methodical manner.

The fact that Raydon could not even reach the giant\'s ankle despite having jumped approximately 8 meters earlier demonstrated how tall this thing was.

"My experience points finally started to show themselves."

As he continued to climb, he noticed that water bubbles were beginning to appear a little higher up, and soon after, those water bubbles transformed into slime and began to slide towards him.

\'\'Explosive Swarm. \'\'

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

..

*BOOM*

As was the case previously, Raydon had used a total of six bees to eliminate this slime. The remaining 34 bees, on the other hand, must have had some kind of intuition that their next target was going to show up because they started searching their immediate surroundings rather than dispersing themselves all over the place.

\'It\'s weird that they have such instincts,\' he thought.

He had been under the impression that the reason they hadn\'t attacked this enormous giant was because they didn\'t consider him to be a target; however, it was really strange that they were waiting here knowing that a slime would soon form.

They quickly took out another slime and then moved on to the location where they expected to find the following one. Each time the bees eliminated a slime, they advanced one level higher, and each time they were able to locate the following slime before it even spawned.

Raydon reasoned that it was due to the fact that bees possessed some sort of instinct and that their behavior was also related to the fact that their element contained fire, while the enemy possessed the water element. It occurred to him that the natural opposition between the fire and water elements could endow them with a heightened sense of intuition.

\'\'Perhaps if I follow them I will be able to find a weak spot on this giant.\'\' He pondered the situation and then proceeded to climb while following his bees.

Even if the worst-case scenario occurred and he was unable to locate the giant\'s weak spot, the fact that he could locate the slimes\' spawn points and gain experience points was sufficient motivation for him to continue following his bees.

Raydon was able to climb almost all the way up to the thighs of the giant after approximately two hours of climbing, and his bees were successful in killing more than 200 slimes along the way.

\'\'Hahahaha. Man… I can\'t believe I\'ve already accumulated more than 500,000 experience points.\'\'

During the productive two hours that Raydon spent farming, he couldn\'t even begin to count the number of times that he cried out in laughter. He had already earned half a million experience points as a result of his body enchantment, which caused his experience points to be doubled.
